Work Examples

Below is a folder of assets from a RevOps audit that I ran from start to finish. This includes a deck, process maps (current and future state), and user stories that came from many interviews, system audits, and working sessions with a real client. I have replaced their logo and name with ‘COMPANY’ to keep them anonymous.

I successfully project-managed a client's transition from Salesforce to HubSpot within a 90-day timeframe. This significant endeavor involved migrating data and functionality from Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, Zendesk, Workato, Chorus, and Tableau into HubSpot. Ultimately, this migration resulted in annual savings of $77,000.

Salesforce Certified Admin

A Salesforce Certified Admin is a professional who has achieved a recognized certification demonstrating expertise in Salesforce's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform. This credential signifies their proficiency in configuring and maintaining Salesforce, managing users, data, and security settings, as well as creating and customizing reports and dashboards to support an organization's sales and business processes. Salesforce Certified Admins play a crucial role in optimizing Salesforce for their respective organizations, ensuring efficient operations, data accuracy, and user adoption of the platform.

A year after working in the corporate world, I decided to start Chicago Belt Company (CBC). CBC was a fashion accessories brand that focused on ribbon belts with Chicago and Great Lakes themes. I always wanted to start my own company and thought this be a good idea with demand in the market. Additionally, I did not have to borrow a lot of money and could still pay my bills every month.

While working on CBC, I quickly found a love for the eCommerce and tech side of the business. I would spend hours a day learning Adobe Create Suite, HTML, Google Analytics and CSS to improve my product and site.

Even though I was selling a fair amount of belts, it came to a point where I wanted to get back to a team approach experienced at a startup. CBC may not have been a huge success but it was an excellent learning experience, and I wouldn’t be where I am today in my career without going through all those ups and downs of running a company.

General Assembly Data Analysis Circuit

A ten week course where I learned to gather, analyze, and tell stories through data with SQL, Excel, and visualization. The Data Analysis Circuit helped me fine tune and add polish to the skills I have been teaching myself over the years.

In my free time, one of my favorite things to do is sail on Lake Michigan, and I am very involved with the Chicago Yacht Club. The third party company running the club website wanted to charge over $20,000 to customize the dinner reservation system to use as a boat rental tool.

Once getting wind of this (pun intended), I proposed a plan to use a separate site that I volunteered to build. After talking to other club members and staff, I was able to create a website that anyone could use since most sailors are typically not computer savvy.

With about 30 hours of work, I saved the club tens of thousands by setting up a WordPress server, customizing a theme to match the existing site and implementing a reservation plugin.
